We are expanding due to our success and we are looking for a Finance Analyst to work with the Finance team to enhance our knowledge and metrics around customer and supplier contracts, ensuring that all our systems are up to date and that reports are provided to the Finance Manager around current status.

You will be a highly commercial and business minded Accountant with financial acumen that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. You have the determination, communication skills and attention to detail to partner and lead reporting on all aspects within an excellent and committed team. You will offer a high level of support to the Finance Manager as well as supervising some dedicated finance projects.

The role – who we’re looking for

This role will require a strong, confident team player and communicator who is able to gain trust from the team and customers alike. Previous Finance Dept Coordination experience is a must, preferably within the IT industry, specifically data centre services, colocation and infrastructure, telephony, connectivity and cloud services. You will have plenty of experience in building customer and supplier relationships and analysing that data from customer contracts and services.

Strong organisation skills, a high attention to detail and excellent time and priority management abilities would be advantageous. You will be polished and able to deliver corporate presentations and messaging in meetings and be able to report on business status to the leadership team consistently. You will have knowledge of our services and solutions business models, potentially including networking, data centre and cloud solution services and solutions revenue and forecasting models.  Understanding of service desk SLA’s and customer charging for this type of model would be helpful.

You will be part of a highly customer focused team, interacting and liaising constantly with all teams, sales team and service desk project managers to enable delivery of our connectivity solution to all customers.

This is a key role in the organization, with an expectation that the successful candidate also has the capability to lead by example in servicing and managing all aspects of the finance function, including cash flow projections and reporting, Payroll, Cash Management, Billings, and credit control.


Ideal skill-set and experience:

  • 3+ yrs in IT/Telco fields within a finance function, ideally with full or part-qualified ACCA/AAT/CIMA or other equivalent finance qualification
  • Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A solid understanding of our business services and the billing and costing models surrounding these
  • A thorough understanding of all business departments and how finance is needed and impacts in these.
  • Knowledge and efficiency in Excel and SAGE Live/Salesforce.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English


Core tasks:

As Finance Analyst for this team you will be responsible for:

  • Co-ordinating the Sales and Purchase Ledger within finance functions of a team
  • Working on multiple finance aspects, at different stages that vary in size and scale
  • Analysis of Customer contracts, Ceased contracts and services, monthly rental Invoices
  • Analysis of Supplier contracts/connections, ceased connections/services, rental purchase Invoices
  • Scrutiny of the output/input on system (Sage Live)
  • Treasury reconciliations
  • Assistance to Finance Manager on various tasks
  • Liaison with Finance Manager, Customer success team, customers and cease desk
  • Supervising juniors
  • Building and maintaining trusted internal and external customer relationships
  • Working with departments on clear day to day aspects of budgeting
  • Managing and delivering to a clear plan
  • Working with all levels of a business in terms of gathering finance data for reporting
