Our colocation facility in Woking is located within the Digital Realty data centre (previously Sentrum).


Situated close to both the M4 and M25 motorways, our Woking data centre sits just outside the centre Woking town in Surrey. Access to the facility is very easy by car, and the nearby motorways offer quick, easy links to London, the South and Heathrow airport. The centre is also close to Woking mainline station, with a travel time to central London of just 40 minutes. Local amenities include a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes in the nearby town centre.


You have the choice of a number of great providers in this carrier neutral facility, and can choose between services from Backbone Connect, BT Openreach, Cable & Wireless or Virgin Media Business. The centre is on-net for multiple international and national carriers, including the Backbone Connect core network, and offers diverse routes to major London data centres.


Mains power is supplied to the centre via 2 66kV incomers and the facility boasts a minimum N+1 redundancy on power. Diverse A and B supplies deliver power to every cabinet and there are 8 UPS units spread across 2 locations for increased resilience. Power at the site is available from 1kW to 6kW per rack footprint, ensuring your specific needs are met. And there are also 5 diesel generators at the centre to protect against unexpected outages, with 72 hours worth of back-up fuel stored onsite.


Our Woking data centre has a dedicated facilities management team onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring the smooth running of all technical equipment, so you can be assured that your data is in very good hands. The facility also has high quality security measures in place, including internal and external CCTV, perimeter fencing, mechanical cabinet locks, proximity access cards and 24/7 security personnel presence onsite. There is also dedicated office space available onsite, so you can work close to your equipment.
