You’ll benefit from Tier III+ operation and infrastructure within the recently built Hayes data centre, conveniently located close to Heathrow Airport.
Our Hayes facility is located outside the city centre in South East London. Situated just inside the M25, the site has good road links into London and to nearby motorways, is very close to Heathrow airport and has plenty of parking onsite if you’re visiting by car. Nearby Hayes & Harlington rail station has a journey time into London Paddington of under 30 minutes. Local amenities include a selection of shops and eateries.
You can choose from a range of configuration options from part racks to private suite areas, depending on your specific business requirements. A comprehensive range of connectivity services are also available in this carrier neutral facility, so you can opt to receive connection from many national and international carriers, including Backbone Connect, BT Openreach, Colt and Virgin Media Business. You’ll also benefit from connection to the Backbone Connect network and available Ethernet access from 10Mb to 10Gb.
Your level of power can be tailored to your specific needs and is available from 1kW to 6kW per rack footprint. The facility also offers a minimum of N+1 redundancy on power supply, with dual redundant A & B distribution. The mains power is supplied via 3 11kV supplies for 4 transformers, and the facility also has backup diesel tanks on site to keep equipment running in the event of power outages. The tanks support 50 hours at full capacity, with rolling 8 hour fuel delivery 24 hours a day.
You can be sure your data is in good hands in this facility, with a dedicated facilities management team monitoring the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Security staff are also present on site and access is restricted via full access control system. You can access the site 24/7, and our team of experts are always on hand to offer advice and troubleshoot any problems.
High Sensitivity Smoke Detection (HSSD) devices and alarm system are present in the return air-flow of CCUs to catch any problems or malfunctions. The facility offers a minimum N+1 resilience on its chilled water cooling system, and the temperature and humidity in the technical spaces are kept to industry accepted standards, and maintained within energy efficient parameters.
If you’re looking for a Tier III+ facility outside of the capital, with good links into London, the Hayes centre is a great choice.
