- Proximity access control systems on all doors ensure access to authorised personnel only.
- Generators and UPS backed electricity supply to the building ensures continuous running in the event of a mains grid failure. Onsite fuel for 24 hours and a 12 hour refuelling contract allows the building to run indefinitely without mains electricity.
- Downflow (under floor) air conditioning maintaining 20°C +/-2°C of the total heat load of the data centre. heat data floor. The capacity is designed such that the failure of one unit can be handled by the other units.
- Full under floor water leak detection and rectification of water leaks.
- Full VESDA system provides for early detection of smoke and heat so that any potential fire is detected before it can develop further. An FM-200 fire suppression system is in place for the unlikely event a fire does occur.
- All under floor cabling is low smoke and the under floor void is protected by FM-200.
